Our Team

Gavin Wedell

Gavin Wedell is Founder and CEO of Change Activation. He has taught at business schools across Europe and Asia and speaks at conferences worldwide on the importance of enabling change engagement. He has an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a honours degree in Psychology from the University of New South Wales.

 

Karen Mikami

Karen is the Director of Sales and Business Development at Change Activation. Her background in the vocational training and social services sectors have given her a user focused approach that she uses to ensure she understands the particular challenges and requirements of her clients.

Karen has had extensive experience working with a diverse range of clientele in both the private and public sector. She holds qualifications in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours from the University of Sydney.

 

Teena Cochran

Teena Cochran is change manager in a global pharmaceuticals company with deep experience in portfolio and project management in pharmaceutical research and development environment. She is a former Director of Marketing for the North Carolina Project Management Institute. Teena is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified under ASQ, a Master Coach and Project Management Professional (PMP) with PMI.

 

Claire Dellar

Claire is a U.K. based benefits realization and change management practitioner who works with organizations including the U.K. National Health Service Institute to improve public and private sector leadership and maximizing organizational potential. She is a contributor to the APMG 'Managing Benefits' textbook and is an accredited Department of Health Gateway reviewer.

Jean Deslauriers

Jean is a Canada-based veteran change management consultant with over two decades of experience activating change and working in organizational design roles in the Canadian Department of Defence as well as the private sector. Jean is a certified trainer of Prosci's change management methodology as well as a certified facilitator of the "Leading Bold Change" workshop, based on John Kotter's best selling book "Our iceberg is melting".

Jean holds a Master's degree in Public Administration, Organizational analysis and development from Université du Québec - Ecole nationale d'Administration publique.

 

Candy Mirrer

Candy is a U.S. based change management practitioner with deep experience in international development. She has over two decades of experience working as a practice director, team leader, project manager and consultant in multiple sectors as well as in both government agencies and the private sector.

Candy has also developed and delivered career development programs for universities in the U.S. and Europe as well as NGOs and international development organizations. She has an MBA from Boston University.

 

Karen Noble

Karen is a U.S. based organizational change consultant. Her practice focuses on assisting senior leaders and organizations to achieve clarity in their strategic direction and a focused drive to meet their business goals. She is an expert in individual change models and applies the principles of how the brain works in order to assist employees realize their potential.

Karen holds a Master's degree in Organization Change Management from New School University, receiving the Outstanding Student Award for Organization Change Management.

 

Valerie Roy

Valerie is a U.S. based operational development coordinator at a major global automotive company. She leads global change management assignments within her organization, including IT solutions projects that span multiple countries. Valerie has a background in developing and implementing quality management projects in organizations that lead to cost reductions and more efficient decision making.

Valerie holds an MBA from Duquesne University.

 

Dave Soock

Dave is a Canada-based organizational development professional with over two decades of experience working in multiple business sectors including financial services, retail, sales, food service, manufacturing and professional service. He has deep knowledge of change management with particular emphasis on culture change, process improvement and systems implementation.

Dave holds a Master's in Education from the University of Toronto.

 

Betsey Upchurch

Betsey is a U.S. based management consultant. She has deep experience in organizational development and leadership training.
